How many times have you wondered what you’d look like with a really good facelift? Somewhere around my very early fifties it became a common experience. In fact, I have to admit to frequently going through the ritual of lightly pulling back my cheeks, tightening the skin on my neck, and imagining what my eyes would look like with a really good eye lift, or should I say eyes-lift since I would want both of them “lifted”.

Then recently I came across a delightfully fun and free way to see what you’ll look like after everything has been lifted. Apparently plastic surgeons have known about this technique for years.

Okay – now are you ready for your “high-tech” preview?

Lie down on your back. Yes, just lie down where there is good light overhead. Make sure you have a hand mirror and now take a good look at your face.

The fact is that a major cause of sagging is all the many years of gravity pulling on our faces. So lying down gets rid of that effect for the moment. And gives you a fun and free way to preview what you can look like with a face lift.

And by the way, stem cell face lifts – in which they use your own stem cell rich body fat tissue – is right around the corner so you don’t have to worry about the risks of major surgery or the Joan-Rivers-effect!

NOTE: Dr. Sherven neither endorses nor promotes facelifts. However, she knows that a major concern for boomer women and men is what we’ll look like as we all get older. That’s why she and her husband provide up-to-date information about your many, many options as you progress into your coming life extension years.
